The Rationcrate.com C-Ration crate is our "Flagship" crate and has been very well received. I have been able to locate at least 3 completely different versions of the C-Ration artwork from the WW2 time period. (and 1 from the Korean War) I based the artwork for the first RationCrate.com crate on this photo. (Which I believe was taken in Italy). Click on the pic for a Hi-Res version

Buster and I are happy to announce that we have a new C-Ration variant. As you can see from the pics below we went to great pain's to get this as close to the original as possible.

I had no idea in the beginning that it would be impossible to find cans the correct size to fit into and fill the C-Ration Crate. With the lack of a proper sized can realized as a universal truth, I have decided to start making (in addition to the spec. crate) custom crates. What does "custom crate" mean to you? Go down to your local Mr. Druckers Grocery and dry goods, pick out a cylindrical can of "Who Hash" make sure that the dimensions stay close to 3.5 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. Email me the actual dimensions of the can and I will build you a crate that is as close to the actual dimensions of the spec. C-Ration Crate as possible but holds an even 2 layers of "Who Hash" (approximately 48 cans). At that point you can get the cans and tear off the labels and paint them green and stencil on them WHO-HASH 1942…or whatever you like.

The cost of either the spec. C-Ration crate or the variant is $50. The cost of the custom C-Ration crate is $55. Shipping for either is $15 to the lower 48.
